Continuing Care Treatment

Addictive alcohol or drug seeking behavior patterns may persist after the substance use has ended.  Treatment outcome research shows that individuals who participate in a twelve-month Continuing Care Program after completing residential treatment have the highest recovery rates.  Making a seamless transition to a “well adjusted” way of living is an essential component of the Flex-Care Treatment System.  The Lifeskills Program is designed to establish healthy lifestyle patterns that will support long-term recovery

Recovery Management & Relapse Care

Prior to discharge from residential treatment, each client will develop a written Recovery Management and Relapse Prevention Plan that will support their transition from treatment back into daily routines and activities.  Triggers to drink or use are everywhere and every client must be prepared to defeat the triggers, cravings, and learned responses that can lead to a relapse.  The personal plan may need to be adjusted to life changes several times during their first year of recovery.
